Ensuring the health, safety, security, and environmental sustainability of our operations is a fundamental priority for our organization.
Our Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) Policy underscores our commitment to eliminating all accidents, injuries, and occupational illnesses while safeguarding the environment. We are dedicated to continuously enhancing the safety practices across our subsidiaries by focusing on technical improvements, organizational strategies, and a culture of proactive safety.
The corporate HSSE Department takes the lead in formulating guidelines and establishing minimum standards that are applicable to all subsidiaries. We set clear performance objectives and benchmark our progress to drive ongoing enhancements.
A key initiative within our strategy is the development of in-depth HSSE manuals tailored to the needs of each operational unit, which serve as a foundation for the creation of localized management systems at each site.
To facilitate learning from incidents, we maintain a global incident database. This system allows us to document and analyze all accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions or behaviors. In cases where it’s deemed necessary, HSSE alerts are issued, shared with relevant sites, and discussed with our workforce.
We conduct internal HSSE audits to ensure adherence to our standards, and we meticulously analyze comprehensive HSSE statistics that include both leading (proactive) and lagging (reactive) key performance indicators (KPIs).
An integral aspect of our commitment to maintaining a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace is the ongoing training and education of our employees. All new hires, contractors, and visitors receive HSSE orientation before they begin work or their visit to ensure they understand our safety protocols and environmental practices.
